Mission and objectives
Semmelweis Nanobiotechnology and In Vivo Imaging Center (NIVIC) uniquely combines meethodologies that span the entire range of biological organization, from individual molecules to cells, tissues and the organism. The Semmelweis Nanobiotechnology and In Vivo Imaging Centre (NIVIC) houses state-of-the-art light and scanning-probe microscopes, molecular manipulation and tomographic devices together with the supporting infrastructure such as an isotope laboratory, vacuum evaporator, laser engraver and molecular and cell biology laboratories.
