Amgueddfa Cymru’s long term commitments are outlined in our Vision ‘Inspiring People, Changing Lives’, published in 2015, which describes the direction of our work and aspirations for the future development of the Museum for the decade to 2025.We have developed a new and far-reaching Vision: to be an organization that isInspiring people, Changing lives. This Vision reflects an aspiration to root our workin Welsh cultural and intellectual traditions and to develop a new paradigm fornational museums across the world.Our purpose, in support of this Vision, is to inspire people through our museumsand collections to find a sense of well-being and identity, to discover, enjoyand learn bilingually, and to understand Wales's place in the wider world.Our priorities, expressed as Commitments in our Vision Map (see next page), havebeen informed by consultation with the public in Wales as well as our Board ofTrustees, members of staff and volunteers together with public and third sectorpartners.
