Scientific Description
Centre of Excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process Control, established in 2009, is a private found research institution that employs 87 highly qualified researchers from the most challenging and promising fields, such as bio-chemistry, bio-instrumentation, optics and advanced new cleaning processes in pharmacy. The Centre consists of six laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and currently runs 20 research projects. All laboratories are horizontally bounded through Laboratory for Open Innovation Systems that provides basic business knowledge and sets a model of innovations acceleration. The focus of the Centre is to create cutting-edge solutions and implement them both, into partners' industrial processes or upgrade them through new partnership. This focus results in a broad, world-wide network. In the near future some of the projects will result in creating spin-offs.
