Scientific Description
The research infrastructure provides the possibility of a real-time measurement of cell adhesion and migration. The complex set-up of the infrastructure represents the highest degree of capabilities among the available platforms not only in Hungary but also in Europe, and offers the measurement of: (i) the kinetics of cell adhesion; (ii) the micro-motion of the adherent cells; (iii) the proliferation and responses to cytotoxic drugs. Wound healing assay methodology is also available to characterize, i.e., invasive tumor cells.
