Scientific Description
The Jules Verne climatic wind tunnel is able to reproduce a very large panel of meteorological conditions with temperatures ranging from -32°C to +55°C along with snow, rain, fog, sandstorm or even cyclonic winds up to 300 km/h. This centre is able to reproduce accurately most atmospherical phenomenons simultaneously to test infrastructures, land, naval or aerospatial means of transportation at full scale. This experimental study can be combined with the expertise of the Soufflerie Climatique Jules Verne in numerical flow simulations to ease the resulting analysis.
