Scientific Description
National Biobanks of Finland offers access to the biobanking service facility, Meilahti Integrated Biobank Infrastructure (MIBI). The biobank infrastructure presently houses DNA from more than 200 000 sample donors and RNA and serum/plasma samples from thousands of individuals. MIBI does not own the samples stored or processed in its facility but the custodian of a sample collection has the right to decide on the disposition of the samples.
