Scientific Description
Since 2011, Schloss Dagstuhl operates the dblp computer science bibliography in close cooperation with the University of Trier. Listing more than four million articles, dblp is the world's most comprehensive open metadata collection of computer science research articles. The goal of dblp is to support computer scientists in their daily work, for example when reviewing the literature of a given author or subject area, or when searching for online full-text versions of research articles. The dblp database is often considered to be the reference database for quality-assured and normalized bibliographic metadata in computer science. Additionally, dblp supports funding agencies and decision makers by providing and curating personalized author profiles. By operating dblp, Schloss Dagstuhl furthers its mission of promoting the identification, dissemination and implementation of new computer science developments at an internationally recognized level.
